Sometimes it’s for the best to not survive a horror movie. Jake (Matthew Knight) went through quite an ordeal in The Grudge 2, and doesn’t exactly get to retire to a normal life in this third installment—the poor guy is plagued by visions of those creepy Japanese girls and straitjacketed for his time. Shawnee Smith—Saw veteran and co-host of VH1’s Scream Queens—is determined to see if the poor bastard’s got any marbles left.
